Hart Biologicals is engaged in the research, development, manufacture, sale and marketing of a range of "in-vitro" diagnostic products for use in the detection, prevention, and monitoring of a number of medical conditions related to haemostasis and platelet function. The company provides innovative and quality medical products to meet the needs of an ever-changing healthcare field. Hart Biologicals employs 46 people and is located in the Northeast of England in Hartlepool.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
● Print all product labels using printing software and hardware following approved SOP and work
instructions.
● Follow relevant procedures and work instructions.
● Take instructions from the Senior labelling & packing technician and Production supervisor.
● Be astute and have a keen eye for detail when producing or proof-reading labels or printed
media. Able to distinguish small visual details to ensure quality standards.
● Produce batch specific inserts as required.
● Perform labelling, packing and documentation tasks for the packing of products as directed.
● Document all aspects of sub-assembly and finished product processes in a clear and concise
manner in line with Hart Biologicals eQMS.
● Develop and design labels and packing documentation in collaboration with the Senior labelling &
packing technician, Production supervisor, Hart Bio Technical, QA & RA teams.
● Report and discuss any issues encountered or identified with the Senior labelling & packing
technician, Production supervisor or Operations manager.
● Ensure packing & labelling equipment maintenance schedules are in date and calibrated as
necessary, in collaboration with engineering & maintenance teams.
● Observe confidentiality at all times.
● Contribute to a positive environment within the Operations team.
● Implement and maintain good housekeeping.
● Work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.
● Adhere and maintain Health and Safety / COSHH requirements.
● Adhere and adapt to quality and regulatory updates.
● Liaise regularly with other departments to ensure the company maintains its high-quality
standards.
● Undertake any other reasonable tasks as directed by the management team.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
There are no specific academic or professional minimum qualification criteria for the role, the following must be observed and achieved.
● A good overall knowledge of software systems and use electronic media competently.
● High-level of attention to detail.
● A high-level understanding of grammar and language
● Be able to work as part of a team, approachable.
● Preferable GCSEs passes in core subjects (Maths / English / Science) or NVQ level 3 or above.
● Preferably experience in a similar role.
