The Manchester Capillary Prothrombin Time reagent is a combined thromboplastin reagent for use in the in vitro control of patient anticoagulant therapy by finger prick or venous blood prothrombin times.
The reagent is a lyophilised preparation with a unique tip and pour system to make reconstitution even easier. An ISI between 0.9 and 1.2 gives the reagent a level of sensitivity that is similar to human brain thromboplastin.
