Kelly, 36, originally from Manchester, joined Hart Biologicals in 2016 but left due to the birth of her third child Luke.

Luke, now 18 months old, joins brothers Dylan, 16, and Josh nine.

Kelly’s first job was in Manchester at a software company and from there she moved to work for a training company before making the move to the North East.

She said: “After moving to Teesside, I worked for a chemical company in Seal Sands before getting a role in Quality Assurance with Fujifilm in Billingham for nine years.

“Two years ago, I came to Hart Biologicals as a temp on a six-month contract in the QA department. When my maternity leave was coming to an end last June, the job became available again, so I was delighted to join permanently.

“My day-to-day role is varied. I deal within the company changes through change controls, non-conformances records, updating the standard operating procedures and the batch manufacturing records. Basically, making sure everything goes smoothly.

“It’s quite an exciting moment in the QA office as we’re currently bringing in new systems and prepping for a number of audits from both the International Organization for Standardizationand the United StatesFood and Drug Administration."

In her spare time, Kelly likes the usual comforts of spending time with her family, eating out at restaurants and says the closeness of the team is evident with the fact she and her colleagues regularly socialise outside of work.

“I really love working with Hart Biologicals.

“I like to feel part of a close-knit team and everyone here is passionate about what they do. We work hard but also really enjoy each other’s company.

“We all work at a world class level here and I hope to help push the quality system to be world class because as a company we’re world players.”
