WITH a successful 2015 under its belt, Hart Biologicals is looking forward to getting stuck into the new year after gaining further partnerships in international markets.

The company spent 2015 preparing for a push in distribution, recruiting in both its manufacturing and quality control departments, alongside working towards industry-set accreditations.

With a steady stream of new contracts in the pipeline, Managing Director Alby Pattison couldn’t be happier.

He said: “Last year we were getting ready to enter new markets and deliver new contracts and it’s really paid off for us.

“We have managed to continue growing in international markets, particularly in the Middle East and Asia so its great to see the fruition of that effort come together.

“The next thing on our agenda is Arab Health taking place in the next few weeks. Our Sales Manager Paul Bates will be controlling the Hart Biologicals stand at the Dubai exhibition and with our contacts already in the Middle East, I’m confident this will raise our profile even further.

“I myself will be travelling to Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand within the next month, to showcase our key warfarin management products.”

The company that previously employed 11 people from its Hartlepool base, now has a 40-strong team, who operate from its expanded premises on the Queens Meadow Estate.

Alby continued: “The expanded premises has given us ample space for our manufacturing, quality control, research and development and business departments.

“We are now prepared and have capacity to deliver these new projects and are looking forward to getting them underway.

“We’ve had a great start to the New Year and we’re really looking forward to driving the business further forward in 2016.”
